Awayter shares its experience in R&D&I projects at a webinar organised by the Andalusian Hydrogen Cluster

Awayter en el webinar I+D+i

Facundo Ayala, R&D&i and Partnerships Manager at Awayter, participated in a session focused on funding opportunities, technological collaboration, and real-world experiences in innovation projects.
The webinar, “R&D Grants: Funding Calls, Collaborative Projects and Real-World Experiences”, organised by the Andalusian Hydrogen Cluster, brought together different perspectives on how to promote research, development and innovation projects and turn funding and collaboration opportunities into real technological initiatives.

Our experience in collaborative R&D&I projects

Representing Awayter, Facundo Ayala Gauna, R&D&i and Partnerships Manager, shared our experience as a technology company participating in publicly funded R&D&I projects.

His presentation focused on the role these projects play in developing new technologies, the opportunities they offer for collaboration with other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem, and the challenges involved in putting them into practice.

Participating in R&D&I projects goes far beyond securing funding. It also involves identifying real needs, working with organisations from different sectors, sharing knowledge, and addressing technical and coordination challenges.

At Awayter, we see collaboration as a fundamental part of innovation. Our participation in R&D&I projects allows us to continue developing technological solutions, explore new applications of industrial IoT, and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving industrial efficiency and sustainability.

Funding, technology centres and companies: different perspectives on innovation

The webinar also featured Juan Luis Lupiáñez Jiménez from FI Group and Gerardo Jiménez Luque from TECNALIA Research & Innovation.

During the session, several aspects related to the development of innovation projects were addressed:

  • Funding opportunities: calls for proposals and support mechanisms to promote R&D&I initiatives.
  • Technological collaboration: the role of technology centres and consortia in developing joint projects.
  • Business experiences: lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges faced by companies participating in publicly funded projects.

Bringing together these perspectives made it possible to explore innovation from different angles: funding, applied research, and the experience of companies developing and implementing new technologies.

Continuing our commitment to collaborative innovation

At Awayter, we remain committed to R&D&I projects as a way to generate knowledge, establish new collaborations, and develop solutions that address the real needs of industry.

We would like to thank the Andalusian Hydrogen Cluster for organising this event and for the opportunity to share our experience alongside FI Group and TECNALIA.
Because innovation also means collaborating, learning, and turning knowledge into real solutions.
