The team behind Awayter

Eudald Bover identified the need to improve nutrition in work and community settings. From this challenge arose the idea of ​​creating a smart and healthy cafeteria operating 24/7.

Eudald Bover, Joan Prat and Jordi Sans founded Awayter with the aim of developing the project and designing, marketing and launching healthy automatic canteens.

During 2022 the project was consolidated and the first canteens were implemented in real environments, validating the model and the technology developed.

The team identified the need for greater visibility and control over the installed canteens, which led to the development of an IoT platform
capable of remotely monitoring and managing the machines.

The IoT Platform is evolving beyond the canteen environment and is beginning to be applied to industrial machinery, opening a new stage of growth and positioning in the sector.

More than 25 industrial machinery manufacturers choose Awayter Connect to add greater value to their equipment through connectivity, real-time data, and new digital services.

Awayter designs and manufactures its own industrial IoT Gateway, Awayter Edge, enabling it to offer a complete turnkey solution that integrates hardware and software end-to-end.
