The event will bring together professionals from the industrial sector to explore how connectivity and IoT are transforming the business models of machinery manufacturers.
Awayter and FIDES will hold the professional event “How machinery manufacturers are transforming their business with IoT” on 10 June 2026. The event is aimed at professionals interested in understanding how connectivity and the Internet of Things (IoT) are redefining the present and future of industry.
The event will take place at FIDES’ facilities in Polinyà, Barcelona, in an in-person format, combining technical presentations, real-life case studies, networking and a factory visit to showcase practical applications of industrial digitalization.
The initiative has been created to bring industrial manufacturers closer to the opportunities offered by IoT, helping them evolve from traditional models towards more connected, efficient and service-oriented value propositions.
The session will begin at 10:30 a.m. with an institutional welcome and coffee break led by Jaume Rosines, CEO of FIDES, and Eudald Bover, CEO of Awayter.
This will be followed by Víctor Garcia, Chief Innovation & Product Officer at FIDES, who will open the content block with the presentation “The first step: connectivity”, focused on the importance of establishing a solid technological foundation to move towards smart industrial environments.
Afterwards, Eudald Bover, CEO of Awayter, will deliver the session “From machines to services: how manufacturers are unlocking new value with Industrial IoT”, where he will discuss how machinery manufacturers are using connectivity to generate new business models.
The event will also include a success story presented by DECACLIMA, with the participation of Adrià Font, Technical Director of the company, and Joan Prat, CSMO of Awayter, who will share their experience of digitalization and connectivity applied in an industrial environment.
Following a Q&A and open discussion session, attendees will be able to take part in a technical visit to the FIDES factory and enjoy a networking aperitif designed to encourage the exchange of experiences among professionals from the sector.
